主要从事海洋生态、气候变化、贝类养殖和渔业碳汇研究,主持国家自然科学基金青年项目1项、广西自然科学基金重点项目1项、科技部国际杰青计划项目1项、中国博士后自然科学基金项目1项、广东省创新强校项目1项,荣获广东省动物科学技术奖特等奖1项、林浩然动物科学技术奖一等奖1项,以第一作者出版英文专著2部和发表SCI收录论文50余篇。
